1.- Visit: http://tv.apdc.pt/

2.- Click on the “Install Microsoft Silverlight” square (that software is necessary to navigate in this site)

3.- In the next page click on “Direct Download Links” and select Windows or Macintosh, depending on your platform

4.- Click on “Save” to download “Microsoft Silverlight”

5.- In the “open file” window click on “run”

6.- In the next screen click on “Install now”

7.- When installation is complete. Click on “Close”

8.- Go back to http://tv.apdc.pt/, You can click on the back arrow and the F5 key or simply copy/paste the address in the browser -» http://tv.apdc.pt/

9.- Once on the site, go down to the “Broadband Summit” banner. If you locate the mouse on the bottom border of the banners on the right, you will observe that a gray downward arrow appears. Stay on top of the arrow as you move the mouse down (without clicking) and you will find “Broadband Summit”

10.- Click on the Broadband Summit Banner. A set of photos will appear. Place the photos without clicking and move it gently to the right. Notice that as you move towards the edge a very light arrow appears on top of the pictures. Stay on the arrow and you will see successive photos appearing to the right with the names of the speakers. Continue until you see Carlota’s picture.

11.- Click on Carlota’s picture. (Note: If you go past Carlota’s photo, go to the left border and find the other arrow. It is about 1.5 cm from the edge). The video will appear on the space to the left of the page. At the top right hand corner of the video image you can choose to have a full screen view by clicking on the bigger rectangle. To go back to the smaller image, use the Esc key.

12. For the answer to a panel question on the negative aspects of technical change, go back to the set of pictures and continue moving to the right with the mouse on the gray arrow (without clicking). There will be another photo of Carlota. Click on it and the video comes up.
